Who Qualifies for NDIS Funding?

To be eligible for NDIS funding, you must:

  • Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a Protected Special Category Visa.

  • Be under 65 years old at the time of application.

  • Have a permanent and significant disability or medical condition that affects your ability to perform daily activities. This includes physical, intellectual, cognitive, neurological, visual, hearing, or psychosocial impairments. The NDIS does not cover temporary conditions.

Yes, you can switch to CR Therapeutic Support from your current provider. Follow the procedure in your service agreement and inform your provider, which may involve a notice period. Our team can guide you through the process. Contact us for further assistance.

 

What Are the Different Ways I Can Manage My NDIS Plan?

Managing your NDIS supports can be done in several ways:

  • NDIA-Managed: The NDIA manages your funds and pays registered providers on your behalf.

  • Self-Management: You manage your funds, pay providers directly, and get reimbursed by the NDIS.

  • Plan Manager: An NDIS registered plan manager manages your plan’s finances on your behalf, including provider payments and invoice management. Plan managers must be registered with the NDIS Commission.
